Adrianna Strozak
Adrianna was born in Chicago, Illinois and largely grew up in the suburbs. She graduated from Stetson University with a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology in the Spring of 2022. Her previous research focused on characterizing the butterfly gene optix. During her time at Stetson, Adrianna was a laboratory research assistant and TA, member of the Honors program, and served as a VP on my Greek organization’s executive board. In the Patel Lab, Adrianna is working on characterizing novel aspects of a mitochondrial stress response.
In her free time Adrianna likes being active outdoors and taking part in activities such as hiking and kayaking; she enjoys exploring National Parks and hope to visit all of them. Adrianna is also a HUGE animal lover and currently has 3 dogs! Additionally, she is a big fan of music discovery and enjoys spending time finding new artists.
